Pizza Toni - Saint Viateur: Reviews & Ratings

After having Pizza Toni about a dozen times, I can officially say it’s good - but I admit, it’s not my favourite. If you like your pizza on the crunchier side then this might be the spot for you (borderline burnt sometimes). Personally, I prefer a flimsier slice so that of course impacts my review here. Another thing to note is the cost of slices has gotten quite high, the last time I was there I paid $6.90 for 1! I can usually get two slices in Little Italy/other joints in the city for just under $10. Overall, if you’re in the neighbourhood and craving pizza, it’s worth trying out. But it’s not typically a place I go out my way for

The New York slice was not the best I’ve had but it’s a somewhat cheap slice to just try in the area if you are wanting some pizza. Maybe the Sicilian slice would be a better choice

Toni’s pizza tastes pretty amazing. They have all different slice flavours ready to try. I tried the pepperoni flavour and it tasted really nice. It had a beautiful crisp and a nice cheese and sauce flavour on top. We also ordered a large pizza. There were a lot more different options for the flavours of freshly baked pizzas. Though it took a bit of time to make, it came out really nice. The flavour of it was really good and it looked so nice too.

Best pizza I've had in Montreal. Or all of Canada. Simple but so good. I think I prefer the square. You need to try both....

Wow! Sooo good! The dough has a nice texture and crunch. The pizza had a great undercarriage. The toppings were very tasty. Tried 2 slices, walked around Mile End and then had to go back to order a whole SHGP pizza to take back home. Definitely a place to try!

Without a doubt, the best pizza I have ever had in Montreal. When I was looking at an assortment of pizza places online, the pics on this page looked exactly like my favourite pizza in Toronto, so had to give it a try and it did not disappoint. Fabulous sauce. Crust thin and tasty, cheese and ingredients just perfect. You could tell this pie was made with love. Support your local pizza place, this place makes Amazing pizza

Inhaled the pizza in less than 10 minutes so it’s fair to say that the food is great. Had the pizza delivered so the crust came in a bit cold since I ordered during winter, but I’ve been there in person and the vibes were great. Cozy atmosphere, a bit small but the fantastic pizzas and dipping sauces make up for it (did not know ranch and pizza could actually go so well together) Ps: Their hot honey is

Welcome to Pizza Toni - Saint Viateur, a hidden gem located at 104 Saint Viateur St. West, Montreal, Quebec. Known for its hearty New York-style slices and an array of flavors, this pizza spot is a must-try for both locals and visitors alike. With a focus on crust and toppings, the pizzeria has developed a loyal following, though opinions on its offerings vary.

Upon stepping inside, you'll immediately appreciate the inviting atmosphere and the tantalizing aromas wafting from the kitchen. Customers rave about the pepperoni pizza, which some describe as having a "beautiful crisp" and an inviting cheese and sauce balance. The attention to flavor here is evident, and it’s clear that the team takes pride in every slice served.

However, as with many culinary experiences, personal preferences play a significant role. For those who favor a crunchier, more robust crust, Pizza Toni may just hit the spot. Yet, some reviews indicate the crust can sometimes border on burnt, which might not appeal to everyone. It's a classic example of how one person's "perfect slice" can be another’s "too crunchy." The review by Serena Lalani captures this sentiment well, with her acknowledgment of the pizzeria's quality while noting it's not her #1 choice.

If you're looking to explore beyond the classic options, the pizzeria offers a variety of deliciously baked pizzas, including their highly recommended Sicilian slice. Reviews suggest you won't regret sampling multiple styles, especially if you lean towards the square-cut preference, as highlighted by Meeten Shah.

Despite some critiques related to pricing—where a single slice can reach nearly $7—many patrons find the experience worthwhile, especially when paired with the vibrant atmosphere of Montreal's Mile End neighborhood. People like nicole express their delight in both the flavor and texture of the dough, leading them to return for more. A true food lover's adventure lies in discovering the hidden treasures of Pizza Toni, whether it be a casual slice enjoyed on the go or a whole pizza to savor at home.

In conclusion, Pizza Toni - Saint Viateur offers a delightful experience for pizza enthusiasts willing to explore the local flavors. With quality ingredients and a welcoming vibe, this pizzeria might just become a staple in your culinary journey through Montreal.
